Rick Dodridge

Richard Dodridge, Director
Teen Challenge Philadelphia

Dodridge has been serving in Teen Challenge for the past thirty-four years in the capacity of public relations, counseling and Induction Center Director. Twenty four of those years were served as the Induction Center Director over Men and Women’s Homes in Phila. He oversees 20 staff members in the long-term treatment of 42 men and women recovering from severe addictions to substance abuse.

He also began a thrift store in 2002 in order to minister to the community and augment funds for the work of Teen Challenge Philadelphia.

Rick was also the Pastor of a Home Missions Church in Germantown for 5 years in the late 1990’s.

Rick is a Licensed Pastoral Counselor with the National Christian Counselors Association and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. He was ordained as a minister in 1988 with Evangelical Church Alliance and attended Niagara College in Welland Ontario Canada and Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville PA. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling from Calvary Theological Seminary in June of 2000. Also, he is Past President of Chestnut Hill Rotary Club.

He is married 31 years to Barbara with 3 adult children.

Having the opportunity to serve in this worldwide ministry of Teen Challenge, Rick brings a unique perspective to impacting broken lives back to wholeness and usefulness.
